Oral Advocacy Skills (Submissions and Court Etiquettes)
These workshops are led by experienced mooters and are designed to support both newcomers and those looking to refine their skills.
Selection Process
Reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns that we can address and a member of our team will be in touch with you.
Application Instructions:
Reflect on your interest in pursuing a career in law and any experiences you may have in public speaking, debate, or advocacy-related activities. Don't worry if you're new to mooting - we welcome beginners! Specifically, address the following points in your response:
Eagerness to Learn: Describe your motivation to participate in mooting and what you hope to gain from this experience.
Collaboration: Consider how you approach teamwork and your willingness to prepare arguments for both sides of a legal issue.
Personal Attributes: Identify key personal attributes or skills that you believe will help you develop as an advocate. Examples might include curiosity, willingness to learn, or the ability to think on your feet.
Please note that applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, as our team will be evaluating each submission, we encourage you to ensure that your responses reflect your best effort. Please note that while continuing students are welcome to apply, priority will be given to those participating in the City Scholars’ Moot for the first time.

Your response should not exceed 100 words.
Submissions must be made by October 24, 2025 at 6pm through the online form below.
