City Workshop Series 2025/26
Our mooting workshop series covered foundational advocacy skills through three distinct streams: Introduction to Mooting, Oral Advocacy and Written Advocacy.
These workshops, led by experienced mooters, were designed to build your advocacy skills progressively and answer your questions. From learning how to deconstruct problem questions to mastering skeleton argument construction and developing both written and oral advocacy skills, each session provided essential tools for successful mooting.
Below you'll find the workshop recordings for the session hosted under this series. We encourage both attendees and those who couldn't make it to make use of these resources as you prepare for upcoming moots.
Introduction to Mooting

This session introduces new and aspiring mooters to the structure of moot competitions, team roles, and the essentials of both written and oral advocacy. Delivered by Dona Kahawe, this workshop focuses on crafting clear, structured, and strategic written submissions. Oral Advocacy Session

Hosted by Dona Kahawe, this session explores the key techniques of oral advocacy in mooting. It focuses on professional courtroom conduct, structuring and delivering submissions, engaging with judicial questions, and managing tone and timing.
